Jemincheon Stream Walk 제민천 산책로
Gongju · Gongsanseong & Jemincheon Old Town · Parks & nature
Jemincheon is a narrow stream that runs north through the old town before it joins the Geum River, and the paths along its banks are where Gongju residents walk, jog and meet. Within a few hundred meters you pass former boarding houses, tiled hanok roofs, small bookshops, tea rooms and murals, so the stream works as a thread that ties the old-town sights together. Every bridge has a slightly different shape, and after dark soft lights come on along the railings and the water.
Locals bring dogs, so it is also one of the few places in the city where leashed pets are a common sight.
Get off at the Sanseong Market stop and walk down to the water, or park in the public tower beside the market and start from there. Naver Map shows the stream path clearly. (Show a driver: 제민천 산책로)
