Naksan Beach 낙산해수욕장
Yangyang · Naksan & Mulchi · Parks & nature

Naksan Beach is a long, gently curved stretch of pale sand with a pine belt behind it and the cliffs of Naksansa at its northern end. In summer it fills with swimmers and umbrellas, but the best times are early morning or sunset, when you can walk the whole length in a few minutes of shuffling through firm, wet sand. Autumn and winter feel almost private.
A promenade and a row of restaurants and cafes run along the road, so you can combine a seaside walk with a seafood lunch without getting in a car. Swim only in months when the beach is officially open and lifeguards are on duty, and stay out of the water when red flags are up.
From the public car park on the beach side you step straight onto the sand. Local buses toward Naksan run from Yangyang town; check current routes. (Show a driver: 낙산해수욕장)
