Jeongam Beach 정암해변
Yangyang · Naksan & Mulchi · Parks & nature
Jeongam Beach is the northernmost of the Naksan-area beaches, a calm stretch of sand where the Seoraksan skyline rises behind the village. It is popular with photographers at sunrise and with people who want a beach walk without the crowds of the main resorts. The shore is clean and open, with just a handful of houses and a few small businesses.
Because there are few shops directly on the sand, carry your own water and a snack. In summer the water can be pleasant, but currents change, so respect lifeguard instructions. Off season the beach is almost empty, which makes it a nice place for a slow stroll and a breather between bigger sights.
Follow signs from the coastal road near Mulchi toward Jeongam-ri and park near the beach. Public transport is awkward, so a car or taxi is easiest. (Show a driver: 정암해변)
