Mulchi Port 물치항
Yangyang · Naksan & Mulchi · Sights

Mulchi is a modest working harbour, the kind of place where the main entertainment is watching boats unload and gulls arguing over scraps. A short breakwater gives you a view of the Seoraksan ridgeline on one side and open sea on the other. Stalls and small restaurants sell fresh raw fish and local snacks, and it feels more like a fishing village than a resort.
Plan about fifty minutes. At sunset the sky behind the mountains turns pink, and it is a good place to stretch your legs on the way between Sokcho and Naksan. Keep clear of the end of the breakwater when swells are high, and mind slippery concrete.
Drive in from the coastal road at the Mulchi entrance and park in the open area by the quay. Local buses between Sokcho and Yangyang stop nearby; confirm times locally. (Show a driver: 물치항)
