A hotel built to resemble a huge cruise liner sits on a cliff above the water, and the sculpture park below it opens a wide view over the beach and the open sea. Metal and stone works dot the paths, so you wander among them while the horizon changes color. At night, lights glow along the coast and the dark sea feels vast.
A walk to the viewing deck takes about an hour. It is windy, so bring a layer. It works best by car or taxi, as public transport is sparse.

It is a short drive or taxi from Jeongdongjin Station (정동진역), about 5 to 10 minutes. Parking is available at the entrance.
