Korean Gasa Literature Museum 한국가사문학관
Damyang · Soswaewon, Sigyeongjeong & Gasa Literature District · Museums & exhibits

This museum explains Gasa, a form of Joseon-era verse often linked to the pavilion culture of the area, through exhibits and video. Writers such as Song Sun and Jeong Cheol are presented along with their works and the places they lived. It is useful as background before you visit Soswaewon and the pavilions, since otherwise the buildings can look like simple wooden structures.
Admission is reported to be free. Exhibits are mainly in Korean, but the building is air conditioned and makes a good break in hot or rainy weather. Plan an hour.
Exhibits and hours may change, so check beforehand. The pavilions and garden are only a short walk away.
