Ayang Railway Bridge 아양기찻길
Daegu · Palgongsan & Dongchon · Night view

An old railway bridge over the Geumho River has been turned into a pedestrian crossing, with lights, benches and a small viewing area in the middle. After dark the bridge glows, and the path across the river makes a pleasant evening walk, with the water below and the city skyline in the distance. The route is flat and short, so it suits families and older visitors.
It is free and open at all hours. Wind off the river can be chilly in winter, so dress warmly. Several cafes and restaurants are nearby for a meal before or after.
Walk about ten minutes from Ayanggyo Station on Subway Line 1. A free public lot sits beside the bridge. (Show a driver: 아양기찻길)
