Bullo-dong Ancient Tombs 불로동고분군
Daegu · Palgongsan & Dongchon · Sights
Around two hundred ancient burial mounds from the Three Kingdoms period rise along a gentle ridge in this free historic site, forming a rolling sea of grassy domes. A path winds between them, and at sunset the round silhouettes against an orange sky are a favorite with photographers. The site is quiet and open, with few facilities, so bring water.
It is a good lower-effort alternative to a bigger heritage site. Please stay on the paths and do not climb the mounds. There is a free lot near the entrance.
Take Subway Line 1 to Dongchon Station and change to a bus of about ten minutes, or go by taxi. Parking at the site is free. (Show a driver: 불로동고분군)
