Hwangso Sikdang (Bongsan-dong Crab Alley) 황소식당 (봉산동 게장골목)

Yeosu · Old Downtown, Isunsin Square & Nangman Pocha · Meal

MealFood & marketsHistory & palacesIndoor

Another veteran on the crab alley, this place serves both spicy yangnyeom-gejang and the milder soy-sauce version in the same meal. The staff set out a table of side dishes, so the final spread can be bigger than the crab itself. Sit down, tie on the bib if offered, and use disposable gloves to crack the shell.

Mixing the crab roe with warm rice is the traditional move. A small portion is easy to finish, but the dish is intense, so plan a lighter breakfast. Seats go fast on weekends.

Prices vary by season, since crab costs change, and cards are normally accepted.
