After sunset a row of orange tents lines the harbor path, and cooks grill and boil seafood on the spot. The signature dish is samhap, a platter that combines grilled pork belly, octopus and other shellfish, and it comes with makgeolli or soju if you want a drink. You can look at what neighbors are eating and point, which is useful when menus are only in Korean.

Prices vary by tent and portion size, so ask before you sit; many tents accept cards, though some small ones prefer cash. The tents cluster so tightly that you can compare a few before choosing. Expect lively, noisy and smoky evenings, and watch your belongings in the crowd.
