This museum next to the fortress village gathers materials on Korean traditional culture, drawing on the legacy of the magazine whose name it bears. Rooms hold folk objects, old publications and exhibits on everyday life of past generations. It complements a walk through the thatched village by showing the objects people used inside such homes.
Labels are mainly in Korean, so a translation app helps, and the pace is slow, about an hour. Children may enjoy handling displays more than reading text. The ticket price is small and may change.
The museum is closed on Mondays and on some public holidays, so check ahead.
