Suncheon Bay Nature Ecology Center 순천만자연생태관
Suncheon · Suncheon Bay Wetland & National Garden · Museums & exhibits
Think of this as the briefing room for the wetland outside. Displays introduce the mudflat ecosystem, the mudskippers and crabs that live in it, and the long list of birds that stop here on their migration. A visit takes about 40 minutes, a bit longer if you linger at the viewing windows.
It also makes a useful shelter when the weather turns, since the boardwalk offers no cover. Entry is reportedly covered by the wetland ticket, but confirm at the booth because arrangements can change. Most visitors skip it and regret it later.
It is inside the wetland entrance area, a few minutes' walk from the car park and ticket office. See the Suncheon Bay Wetland Reserve directions for buses and taxis. (Show a driver: 순천만자연생태관)
