A Ferris wheel on the beach turns a quick sightseeing stop into a surprisingly satisfying one. Gondolas are enclosed, so you can ride in any weather, and the loop takes around 15 minutes with sea views on one side and the Seorak mountains on the other. Evening rides are especially good, because the sky changes color and city lights switch on.
