Yongridan-gil 용리단길
Seoul · Yongsan, Itaewon & Hannam · Meal
Yongridan-gil is the nickname for a lively restaurant district behind Yongsan Station, whose low buildings are packed with trendy restaurants, pubs and cafes. The area grew popular as young chefs opened small places with distinct concepts, such as Japanese izakaya, creative Korean, pasta and craft-beer bars. Dinner is the main event, with lines forming at the best-known spots.
Menus are often in Korean, though photos and English signage are increasingly common. Hours and the mix of places change often, so check recent reviews on a map app.
Yongsan Station (용산역), Line 1 and Gyeongui-Jungang Line, Exit 3, is a few minutes' walk. Sinyongsan Station (신용산역), Line 4, is also near.
