Leeum is a private art museum with two sides, a collection of traditional Korean art in one building and contemporary works in others, designed by famed architects. The traditional galleries hold celadon, white porcelain and Buddhist art, and they may be free to enter, while the modern buildings hold rotating shows and larger fees apply. Reservation or timed tickets are often required, so check online in advance.
English labels and audio guides are generally available. The museum closes one weekday, and hours may change.
Hangangjin Station (한강진역), Line 6, Exit 1, is a ten-minute walk uphill. A taxi from the station takes only a few minutes.
