The Banpo Bridge fountain is said to be the longest bridge fountain in the world, and it shoots arcs of water from both sides of the bridge into the Han River. On summer evenings, colored lights and music turn the water into a moving curtain, with several show times each night. A floating complex of glass buildings beside the bridge lights up as well, and people gather on the riverbank steps to watch.

The show is free and runs in the warm months, usually from spring to autumn, depending on the year. Weather can cancel shows, and the area gets busy on weekends. The schedule and hours may change, so check the times before you go.

Getting there
