Namcheon Bridge & Cheongyeonru 남천교·청연루
Jeonju · Seohak-dong, Jeonju Stream & Hyoja · Night view
Namcheon Bridge links the Hanok Village to Seohak-dong, and Cheongyeonru is the pavilion built over it, a graceful wooden building rebuilt in modern times. By day the bridge is a pleasant walk with the stream below, and by night the lights reflect in the water, making it one of the better photo spots in town. The bridge is free to cross, and benches along the water give a spot to sit.
It is a short stop of around half an hour, ideal as a transition between the Hanok Village and Seohak-dong. Mornings are quieter than evenings.
The bridge is on the south edge of the Hanok Village, about a five- to ten-minute walk from Jeonju Hyanggyo (Confucian School). It is reachable on foot from the village. (Show a driver: 남천교·청연루)
