Wansan Park sits on a hillside, and its Flower Hill is the place for double cherry blossoms and azaleas, which bloom in mid-April later than ordinary cherry trees. The pink and magenta flowers cover the slopes, and paths wind through them with small viewpoints. During blossom season, parking is difficult, so come on foot or by taxi.

Outside spring the park is quiet, with a few jogging paths and views over the city. There is no entry fee, and the park is pleasant for slow strolls. Bring comfortable shoes, as paths climb.

Getting there

The park is on the south side of Jeonju, about 20 minutes from the Hanok Village by taxi. Buses also run but check routes with your hotel. (Show a driver: 완산공원 꽃동산)
