Woljeongri Beach & Cafe Street 월정리해변·카페거리
Jeju · Hamdeok & Gujwa · Parks & nature
A white-sand beach with a row of cafes and restaurants lined along the coastal road behind it, many with sea-facing terraces. Surfers use the beach in the cooler seasons, and in summer it fills with sun-seekers. The water is clear and pale, and the sand soft.
A walk along the beach takes about 20 minutes, and cafes provide shade for a rest. In the morning, the sun lights the shoreline, so photos are brightest early. The strip is busy and parking is tight at weekends, so arrive early.
The beach is free; cafe prices and hours vary.
It is about 1 hour by car from Jeju Airport, with small parking lots along the road. Buses on the north-east route stop in Woljeong village. (Show a driver: 월정리해변·카페거리)
