Bakery Bam Maeul 베이커리 밤마을
Gongju · Muryeong Tomb, Museum & Gomanaru · Cafe
A bakery known for pies and breads that use whole Gongju chestnuts, sweet and dense inside a flaky crust. It is among the best places to try the local specialty without going to the market, and the sweets travel well as gifts. There are seats for a coffee break, and the room can fill with tour groups.
In the afternoon the most popular breads sell out, so earlier is safer. Prices are fair. Staff will box pastries for you.
The bakery also sells drinks and other cakes, so it works for a snack stop after the fortress.
It sits a few minutes' walk from Gongsanseong's west gate; paid parking lot nearby. A taxi from the terminal takes ten minutes. (Show a driver: 베이커리 밤마을)
