Music Station 1939 음악역1939

This former railway station has been turned into a small cultural complex with a music-themed exhibition space, an outdoor stage and lawns where concerts and markets are held in warm months. The old station buildings and tracks give it a nostalgic look, and it is quieter than the island attractions nearby. Admission is free, though some events ask for advance sign-up or a purchase receipt, so look at the poster or official notices before you go.

It makes a pleasant, short stop for a walk and photos, and on event evenings the lawn fills with families and picnic blankets.

Getting there

It is about a 15-minute walk from Gapyeong Station, or a short taxi ride; on event days the roads nearby get congested, so walking is easier. (Show a driver: 음악역1939)
