Nami Island 남이섬
Gapyeong · Gapyeong Town, Nami & Jara Islands · Parks & nature

A crescent-shaped island in the Bukhan River, reached by a five-minute ferry ride, Nami is best known for its tree-lined lanes of metasequoia and ginkgo, which are among the most photographed avenues in Korea. Paths loop past small galleries, lawns with free-roaming ducks and rabbits, and riverside benches. The ticket doubles as your ferry pass and prices may change, so buy it at the terminal ticket office.
Plan on walking much of the island in comfortable shoes; bicycles and small electric vehicles can usually be rented inside if you prefer. Weekends and festival days get very busy.
From Gapyeong Station take a taxi or local bus, about 15 minutes, to the Nami Island ferry terminal and parking lot. (Show a driver: 남이섬)
