Chuncheon Animation Museum & Toy Robot Museum 애니메이션박물관·토이로봇관
Chuncheon · Uiam Lake & Samaksan · Museums & exhibits

These two museums sit side by side in the lake-facing district of Seo-myeon, and together they cover the history of animation, hands-on workshops and a collection of toy robots. Younger children enjoy the interactive areas where they can try making simple animations, and robot fans can look at models from different eras. Many exhibits have limited English, but the visual nature of the displays makes them easy to follow.
Both are closed on Mondays, so plan for another day of the week. Since the museums are indoors, they work well in rain or cold. Visits usually take about an hour and a half.
Hours vary.
A city bus from Chuncheon Station toward Seo-myeon takes about 20 minutes, or go by taxi. A large car park is on site. (Show a driver: 애니메이션박물관·토이로봇관)
