Gongjicheon Recreation Area 공지천유원지
Chuncheon · Uiam Lake & Samaksan · Parks & nature

The park lies where Gongji Stream flows into Uiam Lake, and it is a favorite local place for walking, cycling and sitting by the water. The grounds hold a sculpture garden, benches, a pedal-boat dock and a long lakeside path that can be walked for as long as you like. In April cherry blossoms add color, and at sunset the lake reflects the sky.
It is free to enter, with a few cafes and shops nearby, so it makes an easy and relaxing break in a day of sightseeing. Bike rentals may be available near the park in season. Facilities and boat services can vary by season and weather.
From Namchuncheon Station it is a 20-minute walk, or take a city bus to the Gongjicheon stop. Public parking lots surround the park. (Show a driver: 공지천유원지)
