This cable car crosses Uiam Lake and climbs partway up Samaksan, giving long views of the water, islands and city. The round trip takes about an hour including time at the top, where there is an observation deck, a short walking path and a small cafe. Two kinds of cabin are offered: a regular one and a crystal one with a glass floor that costs a bit more.
Lines on weekends and in autumn can be long, so book online if possible or arrive near opening time. Wind can stop the service, so check conditions on the day. Prices and operating times change, and fares are modest by international standards.
