Seomyeon Milmyeon 서면밀면
Busan · Seomyeon, Jeonpo & Busanjin · Meal
This is a no-nonsense noodle shop dedicated to milmyeon, the wheat-based cold noodles that Busan claims as its own. The pale, chewy strands swim in an icy beef broth with a touch of sweetness, or they come mixed with a spicy sauce if you pick the bibim version. Dumplings are the classic side.
Tables turn over fast, so a short wait is normal, and arriving a little before the lunch rush avoids it. Interior seating is simple and cool in summer. Cards are accepted, but opening days and hours can differ, so check on a map app.
Prices change and portions are generous.
