Nampo Seawall 남포방조제
Boryeong · Muchangpo, Nampo & Jukdo · Sights

A long seawall road that crosses open water, with the sea on one side and a reservoir on the other. It is the road you take to reach Jukdo, and the scenery is best in clear weather. Drivers and cyclists like it because the straight run gives a sense of space that is rare along the coast.
Rest areas allow you to pull over for photos. The wind can be strong, so a light jacket is useful. Sunrise and sunset colors are striking over the water, and you may see birds on the flats.
Plan to treat it as a scenic drive rather than a walk, and keep an eye on traffic when you step out of the car.
By car or taxi from Daecheon Station, about 25 minutes. (Show a driver: 남포방조제)
