Doksan Beach — Boryeong Muchangpo, Nampo & Jukdo
Photo: Korea Tourism Organization (KOGL)

A modest beach just south of Muchangpo, quiet and unspoiled. The sand is clean, the water is calm, and there are few shops, so it is a place to sit, walk and listen to the waves. It appeals to locals who want to avoid the busy resort beaches, and it is a good fallback when Muchangpo is crowded.

At sunset the sky colors the shallow water, and the open view toward the horizon is unobstructed. Facilities are minimal, so bring drinking water, snacks and a bag for your trash. Dogs on leashes are generally tolerated outside swimming season, but check any posted signs.
