Obongsan Mountain 오봉산
Boryeong · Ocheon Port, Sooyeongseong & Wonsando · Parks & nature
A modest hill on Wonsando with a forest trail that climbs to viewpoints over the sea and nearby islands. The trail is not long, but it is steep in places and the surface can be slippery after rain. In clear weather you can see the shoreline and boats.
It is well suited to travelers who like short, quiet hikes without crowds. Allow about two hours round trip. It is not suited to small children or those who need handrails, since the path is rustic.
By car over the tunnel, then follow signs to Obongsan Beach where the trailhead lies; about 30 to 40 minutes from Daecheon Port. (Show a driver: 오봉산)
