Ocheon Port 오천항
Boryeong · Ocheon Port, Sooyeongseong & Wonsando · Sights

A busy fishing and ferry port on the northern side of Boryeong, with the fortress hill rising behind it. It is the departure point for boats to the smaller islands, and in the late afternoon the harbor fills with returning fishing boats. Cafes and restaurants line the waterfront, many serving raw fish and grilled seafood.
The scenery is not polished, which is part of its charm. For photographers the lines of ropes, nets and boats are appealing, especially in golden light. A short walk along the quay is enough to feel the pace of a working port.
From Daecheon Station take a taxi (about 25 minutes) or drive. Parking is available near the seafood center. (Show a driver: 오천항)
