Obongsan Beach 오봉산해수욕장
Boryeong · Ocheon Port, Sooyeongseong & Wonsando · Parks & nature
A beach near the western end of Wonsando, backed by hills and with very little development. Because few visitors come this far, the atmosphere is peaceful and the water looks clean in summer. Sunsets are wide and open, and at low tide the rocky shoreline rewards children who like to explore.
Basic facilities exist, but bring drinking water and snacks. A short forest trail begins near the beach and climbs the hill behind it, so a swim and a walk can share one outing. A car is practically required, and phone signal can be patchy on the far side of the island.
Cross the Boryeong Undersea Tunnel, then continue west on the island road; allow 30 to 40 minutes from Daecheon Port. (Show a driver: 오봉산해수욕장)
