Ingu Surf — Yangyang Jukdo, Ingu & Namae
Photo: Korea Tourism Organization (KOGL)

A friendly-looking surf school sitting between Jukdo and Ingu, where most visitors take their first lesson. The lesson covers safety, a short practice on sand, then time in the water with an instructor. Wetsuits and boards are rented as part of the package.

Lessons depend on the weather and swell, so they can be rescheduled. Sunscreen is essential in summer, and thicker suits are used in cooler months. Lesson fees are on the higher side and can change.

Book ahead, particularly on weekends and in July and August. Bring a change of clothes and a towel, and listen carefully to safety instructions. Plan about two and a half hours.
