Gisamun Beach 기사문해변
Yangyang · Hajodae, Gisamun & Dongho · Parks & nature
Gisamun is a small fishing village with a beach that is popular with beginner surfers. The waves are often gentle and the area is relaxed, with surf shops and small cafes in the lanes. Watching surfers while you sit on the sand is a pleasant way to spend an hour.
The beach is next to the port, so you also hear the rhythm of the village. In peak season the lanes jam up, and parking is scarce, so arrive early or go in the shoulder season. The beach is free.
Keep an eye on the weather, because waves can change quickly. Pets are generally allowed outside swimming areas.
Follow signs from the coastal road to Gisamun village and park in public spots near the beach. Buses stop on the main road but require a walk. Yangyang Airport is near. (Show a driver: 기사문해변)
