Osaek Carbonated Hot Spring 오색탄산온천
Yangyang · Osaek, Hangyeryeong & Seomyeon · Fun & activities

The carbonated spring here is unusual among Korea's hot springs, with a slightly fizzy, mineral-rich water that is said to leave skin soft. The facility is in a hotel basement and has indoor baths and an outdoor pool, so you can soak after a long hike in the open air with mountains above you. As with any Korean bathhouse, you are expected to shower before entering and baths are usually gender-separated, which can surprise first-timers; towels are provided in many places.
Entry fee is moderate and may change. Weekends and the foliage season are crowded, so weekday afternoons are far more relaxed.
It is on Daecheongbong-gil in Osaek, a short walk from the village car park and the spring. Buses to Osaek are infrequent. (Show a driver: 오색탄산온천)
