Donam is a flat seaside park with a yacht marina, a marine sports center and promenades that lead along the water. The paths are smooth, which makes this one of the most comfortable places in Tongyeong for strollers and wheelchairs. Benches face the bay, and in the afternoon you can watch small sailboats go out.
Cafes and restaurants are close, and it lies near the cable car's lower station. Entry is free. In summer there is little shade, so bring a hat.
Cherry trees add pale color in early spring, and the evening sea breeze is pleasant. Dogs on a leash are generally fine in outdoor areas, though rules can change at specific facilities.
