Suncheon Drama Filming Set 순천드라마촬영장
Suncheon · Old Downtown, Drama Set & New Town · Sights
This outdoor set re-creates mid-20th-century Korea, with a crowded hillside neighborhood, a marketplace, old shops and a small-town main street. It has served as a location for many dramas and films, and the details such as old signs and shop interiors are the real draw. Some buildings can be entered to see household items from the past.
The set is built on a slope, so you walk up stairs and narrow lanes, and in summer there is hardly any shade. Photo spots are marked, and on weekends you may wait your turn. Korean visitors find it nostalgic, and travelers can enjoy it for the atmosphere.
About 15 minutes by car from the center of Suncheon, with a parking lot at the site. Public buses run there but infrequently, so a taxi is simplest. (Show a driver: 순천드라마촬영장)
