Seongsu Galbi Alley 성수 갈비골목

Seoul · Seongsu & Seoul Forest · Meal

MealFood & marketsIndoor

Seongsu's galbi street is a cluster of long-running grill houses that serve marinated pork ribs and thick cuts of pork. Charcoal grills sit in the middle of each table, and staff turn and cut the meat at the start of the meal. The ribs are sweet and savory, and they are served with fresh lettuce, garlic, dipping sauces and side dishes.

Most restaurants require at least two portions, so it works best for pairs or groups. Prices and hours may change, and waits can be long at weekends.

Getting there

Seongsu Station (성수역), Line 2, is about ten minutes on foot. Look for the grill houses along the main road.
