Onion Seongsu 어니언 성수
Seoul · Seongsu & Seoul Forest · Cafe
Onion Seongsu occupies a former factory with high ceilings, exposed concrete and long wooden tables, and it has become one of the most photographed cafes in the district. The bakery counter is the heart of the place, with rows of croissants, sweet buns and breads that are baked throughout the day. Some pastries sell out by mid-afternoon, so earlier is better.
The space is large but busy, and weekend lines are common. Ordering is at the counter, and you carry your own tray. Prices are higher than average, and opening hours and menus may change, so check before you go.
Seongsu Station (성수역), Line 2, Exit 3, is about a ten-minute walk. Turn toward the old factory streets.
