Seoul Botanic Park is a large garden in the Magok district with a glass greenhouse, an open park and a lakeside walk. The greenhouse contains two climate zones, a tropical room and a Mediterranean room, with plants from cities around the world, and it is the part that needs a ticket. The outdoor gardens are free and include themed plots and a wetland.

Because the greenhouse is indoors, it works well on rainy or very cold days. Cafes and a restaurant are on site. English signs and plant labels are provided in the main areas.

The park is large and flat, which suits relaxed walking. Hours and fees may change, and the park is closed on Mondays.

Getting there

Magongnaru Station (마곡나루역), Line 9 and Airport Railroad, Exit 3, is a few minutes' walk. It is also reachable from the airport by train.
