Hongdae Yukji is a grill house where friends gather for pork and beef, with charcoal or gas grills in the center of each table. Meats arrive in generous portions along with lettuce, perilla leaves, garlic, dipping sauces and side dishes, and staff often cook the first round for you. The dining room is lively in the evening and loud on weekends.
Grills usually require at least two portions, so groups are best. A set of stew and rice often comes at the end. Prices are mid-range for Korean barbecue, and prices and hours may change.
