Bagel Land is a casual bakery cafe where chewy bagels are the main attraction, filled with cream cheese, ham, vegetables or smoked salmon and served warm. A bagel with a cup of coffee makes a light breakfast or an in-between snack on a day of walking. The space is simple, with a counter and a handful of tables, so many customers take their order to go and eat in a nearby park.

Flavors change with the season, and sandwiches can be built to your own taste. The staff are used to foreign customers and often speak basic English. Prices are modest.

Because seats are limited, weekends can be crowded. Opening hours and menu items may change.

Getting there

Hongik University Station (홍대입구역), Line 2, Exit 9, is a short walk. The shop is near the main street.
