Tsukeru 츠케루
Seoul · Hongdae, Yeonnam & Mangwon · Meal
Tsukeru is a tsukemen shop, where thick noodles are served cold with a separate bowl of rich, concentrated broth for dipping. The broth is salty-sweet and meaty, and you dip a few noodles at a time, then finish by adding hot soup to the remaining broth. Seats are at a counter facing the kitchen, which makes it a natural choice for solo diners, and the servers work quickly.
Because the shop is popular, expect a queue at peak times. Hours and prices may change, and the restaurant may close for breaks between lunch and dinner. English menus may be limited.
Hongik University Station (홍대입구역), Line 2, Exit 3, then walk about ten minutes. Use a map app to find the shop.
