Dongmyo Flea Market 동묘 구제시장

Dongmyo is the shorthand for a flea market that sprawls along the streets near the Dongmyo shrine. The goods are second-hand clothes, vintage sneakers, army surplus, old electronics and household items, and prices are low enough to make rummaging worthwhile. Bargaining is common but should be polite.

Many stalls prefer cash, and not every vendor speaks English, though gestures work. Weekends are the busiest, with narrow aisles and heavy foot traffic. Opening hours vary by stall and the market may be quieter on weekday mornings.

Getting there

Dongmyoap Station (동묘앞역), Lines 1 and 6, Exit 3, is right at the start of the market.
