Jaman Mural Village 자만벽화마을
Jeonju · Hanok Village · Sights
Jaman Mural Village climbs a hillside on the opposite side of the Omokdae footbridge, a once-sleepy neighborhood that was repainted with murals and now draws visitors with its views. The lanes zigzag between small homes and tiny cafes, and from the upper streets you look down over the Hanok Village rooftops from a different angle than at the Omokdae pavilion. The murals are small and charming, so treat this as a relaxed ramble.
People live here, so please keep voices down and avoid pointing cameras at windows. Streets are steep, so comfortable shoes are important, and there is no entry fee.
Cross the pedestrian bridge next to Omokdae Pavilion; the village begins on the other side. From the Hanok Village center it is about 15 minutes on foot. (Show a driver: 자만벽화마을)
