Ttarabi Oreum 따라비오름
Jeju · Seongeup & Gyorae · Parks & nature
A volcanic cone with three linked craters, set among open grassland in Garisi village. The path to the top takes about 30 minutes, with views over wind turbines, farmland and the coast. In autumn, silver grass fills the slopes, and sunset lights the ridgelines in gold.
It is a quieter hill than the more famous cones, so it is a good choice for photography and for people who want a hike without crowds. Wear sneakers, and bring a windbreaker. Entry is free.
Take care on windy days, and avoid walking close to the crater edge.
It is about 1 hour by car from Jeju Airport, with a small parking lot. Public transport is limited, so a rental car or taxi helps. (Show a driver: 따라비오름)
