Hallasan Eorimok Trail 한라산 어리목 탐방로
Jeju · Hallasan & Saebyeol Oreum · Parks & nature
One of the main routes up Hallasan, South Korea's tallest mountain, reaching Witseoreum, a high meadow with views over the crater cliffs. The summit itself is not reachable from this route, but the upper section is a rewarding goal for most hikers. Plan on four to five hours round trip, with steady climbing and a steep final stretch.
A reservation is not needed for this route, unlike the summit trails. Entry cutoff times apply, so start early. Bring layers, water and sturdy boots, since weather changes quickly.
Entry is free.
It is about 40 minutes by car from Jeju Airport on the Hallasan road, with a parking lot at the trailhead. Bus 240 runs between Jeju City and the 1100 road, with a stop near the trailhead. (Show a driver: 한라산 어리목 탐방로)
