Saeyeongyo Bridge & Saeseom Island 새연교·새섬
Jeju · Seogwipo & Namwon · Night view
A curved pedestrian bridge that spans the harbor and links Seogwipo to Saeseom, a small island with a forested loop path. The walk across takes about five minutes, and after dark the bridge is lit, producing a reflection on the water that draws people out after dinner. On the island, a 20-minute path circles through pine trees with sea views and a small harbor outlook.
It is free to enter, and flat enough for a casual stroll. Winds can be strong, so bring a light jacket in cooler months. The harbor also has a few fishing boats and cafes close by.
It is within the downtown Seogwipo area and about 75 minutes by car from Jeju Airport, with a small parking lot by the bridge. Buses to central Seogwipo stop within a short walk. (Show a driver: 새연교·새섬)
