Cheonjiyeon Falls 천지연폭포

Jeju · Seogwipo & Namwon · Parks & nature

Parks & natureNature & parksPhoto spotsNight viewsOutdoor

A three-tier waterfall in the middle of Seogwipo, dropping into a pool surrounded by lush subtropical trees. A paved path from the entrance reaches the viewing platform in about ten minutes, passing through woodland with ferns and unusual evergreen trees. In the evening, the falls are lit, creating a quiet scene after dinner, with fewer visitors than daytime.

A small admission fee is charged, and the site is open late. Because it is within the city, you can combine it with a market and the harbor on a day without a car. Seasonal hours apply, so look them up first.

Getting there

It is a 10-minute walk from Seogwipo's downtown area, and about 75 minutes by car from Jeju Airport. Local buses stop near the entrance, and parking is available. (Show a driver: 천지연폭포)
