National Incheon Maritime Museum 국립인천해양박물관
Incheon · Open Port District & Wolmido · Museums & exhibits

Newly opened at the end of 2024, this national museum on the tip of Wolmido focuses on the sea and the people who lived by it. Exhibits cover shipbuilding, navigation, fishing life, marine ecology and the history of trade through the harbor, with large models and interactive displays. A dedicated children's zone adds hands-on play, though it may need advance booking.
The building itself sits beside the water, so you get views from the outside deck as well. Plan for roughly an hour and a half. Entry to the main exhibits has been free, but rules, hours and booking requirements can change, and it is closed on Mondays.
Ride the Wolmi Sea Train (월미바다열차) to the museum stop, or take a taxi from Incheon Station (인천역). (Show a driver: 국립인천해양박물관)
