Songwol-dong Fairytale Village 송월동 동화마을
Incheon · Open Port District & Wolmido · Sights

Painted storybook scenes cover the walls of a small residential neighborhood, from Snow White and Cinderella to Alice and the Little Mermaid. Dolls, murals and a few sculptures turn a rather ordinary slope of old houses into a photo walk. The streets are narrow and steep in places, so comfortable shoes help.
Keep in mind this is a living community rather than a theme park; photographing the artwork is welcome, but peeking into homes is not. Some displays have faded over the years, so treat it as a light stroll and not a major attraction. Allow about an hour, including the climb from Chinatown.
Walk about ten minutes uphill from the Chinatown gate near Incheon Station (인천역). (Show a driver: 송월동 동화마을)
